The coalition is a group of private citizens who live in, work in, and care deeply about the Sawtooth Valley. We are neighbors first — and we want this effort to reflect that.
David Tedesco
Founding Member
David is an entrepreneur, pilot, and outdoor enthusiast who fell in love with Idaho's Sawtooth Valley over two decades ago. As founder and CEO of Outlier, one of the largest private companies in the United States, he brings a long-term perspective to building and preserving special places.
Through the coalition, David is committed to thoughtful stewardship of the valley's public lands — protecting their heritage while ensuring they remain a vibrant part of the community for generations to come.
David created and provided the initial funding for the SVTC.
Brian Vaughan
Project Lead — Owner, Titus Trails
Brian is the founder and owner of Titus Trails, a professional trail-building company based in Hailey, Idaho. He got his start in trail work as a crew leader with the Student Conservation Association, founded Ptarmigan Trails in Alaska in 2009, and after selling that company in 2014 settled in the Wood River Valley. Since then he has built or rebuilt many of the region's signature trails — including much of the Wood River Valley network restored after the Beaver Creek fire, the Alden Gulch trail in the Ketchum Ranger District, and the Croy Creek system near Hailey.
Brian brings the coalition hands-on expertise in designing, building, and maintaining durable, environmentally sound trails on public land — exactly the kind of practical judgment a modest, well-executed trail network depends on.
